American Cooking Simulator

My work and contributions to this patriotic cooking game.

Designing a sandbox game from initial concept to the physics based gameplay and fast-food kitchen themed level layouts, was a great opportunity to broaden my game design experiences.

In ACS the player needs to cook and prepare fast food orders with the power of the Second Amendment - guns.

My contributions

  • Worked as the Lead game designer, overseeing all aspects of the game’s design, from the first concept to gameplay and level design.

  • Worked closely with our programmer, iterating through gameplay features: mainly the physics of ingredients, the strength and effects of different weapons, tools like chef's eye, which encourages trick shots and player movement.

  • Created an extensive game design document on Confluence with added sections and tables for collaboration with programmers and tech artists.

  • Worked on balancing the level layout, Individual recipes and shifts.​

  • Worked as the Lead Artist, designing and coming up with the core visual identity and style of the game, and also producing all 2D assets.

  • Designed and created all UI elements, in game textures and was also responsible for creating the Main Menu.
  • Created all illustrations required for the promotional materials, as well as all Achievement icons on steam.
  • Currently working on adding a multiplayer to the game as a Game Designer and 2D Artist in summer semester 2025!
